MWEB is an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Naspers Group. The group conducts most of its Internet business through MWEB Holdings, which provides the infrastructure for MultiChoice SA's interactive platform. MWEB acquired the ISP Tiscali South Africa in 2005.
MWEB Holdings is active in the business-to-business and business-to-consumer e-Commerce markets, and provides integrated Internet solutions to companies of all sizes, including web hosting and development.
Commercezone, another MWEB Holdings division, develops B2B
e-Commerce products for the group and external customers.
