Eugene van der Westhuizen holds a M.Sc in Electronic Engineering (1990) and a MBA (2002), both from the University of Cape Town. He joined Telkom in 1991 as a Software developer, progressing to Senior Manager of Development and Support of Telkom's non-voice operational support systems. Eugene joined MWEB in 2004 where he served as Integration Programme Manager of MWEB's Tiscali acquisition, until his appointment as GM of New Business Projects in September 2006.
